The following is the Easter message from the Prior Provincial.
When we have great news to tell, or we ask for emergency help, we use the least possible number of words, at times just monosyllables; it is not a time for explanations!
When Mary Magdalene came to know the amazing news that her Master was alive, she ran and only cried out: “He is Risen!”
As I convey to you my annual Easter greetings and share with you the joy of the Risen Lord, just two words come to my mind: “Happy Easter!”
No need of explanations. We, believers, know the meaning of these words and the reasons behind them.
If we greet each other on these days with “Happy Easter!” it is simply because we consider the Resurrection of the Lord a happy event that fills us with joy, and we want everyone to be filled with the same joy.
This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad.
The Lord is Risen! Alleluia!
HAPPY EASTER!!
